30 degrees for 3-4 hours...

It's supposed to drop to 30 degrees for 3-4 hours overnight tomorrow, then well back into the 40's during the day. It seems that getting just below 32, for only a couple of hours, should be a non-issue, and since I don't have a compressor, the concept of adding all that antifreeze for just one night seems like overkill. But, I don't want to make a mistake.

Would you be concerned?
  • As an example.... When I left for work today ,it was 26 degrees at 7AM.... Went inside the camper and it was still 41 . . . It takes a while for EVERYTHING to hard freeze inside....MOST should be fine
  • If you are really concerned at that temp open ALL the faucets. This will allow any freezing water to expand forcing some water out.
  • I run the water heater, open the faucets, put a electric heater inside the TT, and add some pink antifreeze to the holding tanks. Even if there is some water in them I'm not too worried at those temps and the pink will dilute things enough that it will not cause bursting.
