30 foot run of sewer hose--downhill?

Thanks. I've seen some sites where that much hose would be needed. May just pile it in a bin and take it all with me anyway. At least the Rhino hose collapses nicely!

Not an issue in this case. This is not a traditional sewer line. The rush of water will push everything down.
Presuming the OP is talking about traditional RV dumping.

No problem, but I would use white PVC 3" (?) sewer pipe. It will drain better and last longer and cost much less $$$. You can get an adapter to attach the PVC pipe directly to your RV. No need to glue the pipe together. A press fit will work fine.

The perfect slope is:
For 4-inch PVC piping and a building sewer less than 50 feet long, the minimum slope is 1 inch in 8 feet, or 1/8-inch per foot, and the maximum is 1/4-inch per foot.

And to the OP I agree with Dedmiston so long as it is down hill does not matter if it's 5-10-20-30-50 feet SO LONG AS YOU HAVE ENOUGH HOSE.

I have about 50' of 3" (Multiple sections) and then the macerator with 50' of 3/4 " and yes I've found a need for all of it.

When installing sewer lines we said we wanted it to flow or drop. When got too close to surface install vertical, then flow again.
For dumping a RV, you should have a slug of water behind any solids. OTOH, the ribs in a sewer hose would change the flow, and I'm not smart enough to know if better or worse.
I think if I was looking at OP's problem I would use PCV, and build a above ground system that could be set in place, used, flushed then stored

beaker has a good point. You don't want the water outrunning the load it is carrying

Macerator pump stores much easier.

This is correct (40 years as a contractor). The waste needs water to float on to travel.

Use lots of water. Especially AFTER you've dumped.
