This plastic coating worked pretty well. Two problems we experienced were discoloration of the film after approx. 5,000 miles, and the removal of the film was not a quick deal. I would suggest spraying more material to build up the thickness, this should improve the removal process greatly. I took 7 hours removing the film from my Equinox last week, mostly using a teflon scraper because it would not come off in large pieces. As for the discoloration, possibly from the diesel exhaust?? I got an estimate of $550.00 to have Diamond Shield applied to the same area that I had the 3M, which was the nose, 6" of the hood and and flowing on the same line down the fenders.
