My trailer has a 40 amp progressive dynamics 9100 converter with charge wizard and will do 14.4 volts but not when it's really low still though at 50% batt it will take 38 amps and go from 50% to 85% charge in 3 hours 15 min with everything turned off. I have installed an inverter to power the led tv which only runs 3 amps. Also 90% of my lights are led.
Generally I just want to run it for 3-4 hours per day to recharge the battery bank. I would be curtious with the neighbors but surely they will have to realize not everybody can have a big dollar solar setup. I'm not talking about runing the genn all day long in a quiet campground, that would just kill the gasoline. If I needed AC all day I would just plug into a shore at a campground.
The champ 3100 seems like a good unit but i think it's just out of my price range right now. Let me research some more lol
