4000 watt Generator with A/C vs 1500 watt Gen without A/C???

Soundguy, I answered the question with a solution. Unfortunately you didn't like it. Most of my power comes from solar. I filled the generator up 4 times in 2015. I would have preferred to use no generator at all which is what I did when I was part time for five years. That included running the roof air from the battery bank.

If I had spent the money to buy the generator on upgrading the solar, I would have never needed a generator. I'm sorry I did not do that.
