Small Bathroom is our big complaint. We are tall and the door closed, the room is too small for comfort.
My bathroom is in the hallway between the kitchen and the bedroom. Bathroom is tiny and my knees touch the door when sitting on the toilet. The nice thing is that when I open the door it blocks the hallway and even locks in the position, so I have plenty of room. The bedroom has a sliding door, so there is privacy. Strange layout, but it's nice that I have plenty of room, but it doesn't take up much space.
My floorplan is almost exactly like the one in this picture, except for mirror image, with the tub/shower on the drivers side, along with the stove, and couch. Passenger side have the sink, wardrobe, and I can open both bathroom doors to block off the rear bedroom and hallway, then have privacy and room to get dressed, with 8X6' dedicated to the bathroom.
I have a 30E 1997 Bounder motorhome with a 100 gallon fresh water tank, 42 grey and 59 black water tank. I can dry camp for weeks at a time. I have on-off toggle switch that activates the pump from the bathroom, kitchen and outside shower. I can turn on or off from any location! I guess the owner and designer for Fleetwood camped in the TV's back then.
Now manufactures are so worried about the CCC rating, that they rarely put more than a 40 gallon fresh water tank into the RV! Sad! Only toyhaulers seem to have a large enough water tank. I saw one toyhauler with dual 100 gallon fresh water tanks! Great option for those who like both daily showers and dry camping weeks at a time!
I think one of my favorite additions to my RV was the water pump accumilator tank. IT makes the pump really quiet!
Another is the over the window awnings, they open really quickly, and provide great shade! They can be left open in 'normal' winds, up to about 15 MPH, when they start to rattle. . .
I also ordered my RV without a dinette, the most uncomfortable item in my last class C. Instead I got 2 extra captains chairs, and a tiny table between them. That table and 1 chair was removed, the front passenger seat swivels around to meet up with the new table, 40" X 29", so it can fold up against the wall, below the window!
Have fun camping!
Fred.
