50 amp plug handle
I have a 50 amp cord with molded ends but no handle. Is there some way to attach a handle to the cord instead of cutting off what is there? Just looking for ease of unplugging when camping.

- Here's something I might try---Buy a pipe clamp big enough to fit around the smallest part of the molded plug. You can then clamp a handle to the cordset. If you get one of these clamps with the threaded fitting, you can attach pieces of pipe and fittings to cobble up a decent handle---
- There used to be a fabric strap that went around the plug. Made of nylon, they had cutouts that the plug blades went through Haven't seen them for a while though.
- Typically the moulded ends on a 50A cord are junk and they don't last long. May as well swap them out to the Camco ends and be done with it.

Not that I ever noticed.. and thanks for saving me the time it would have taken for me to find a link.. I second your recommendation.- One advantage to the Plug Dogs is they will allow the panel cover to completely close on top of them, unlike the hard Camco plugs. That should keep them from getting wet as well.
