50 amp service - is RV service wiring the same as others?

Our trailer is wired for 30 amp service. I carry a 50A to 30A dog bone adapter for situattions where only 50A service is available. Next week we will be "camped" next to a utility shed on my cousin'...

At a bare minimum check the voltage after you plug in your adapter and before you plug your RV into it.
