Took a stroll around my loop in a state park campground and observed some strange behaviour. The loop is less than 30% full with a mix of tent sites, 30 AMP and a much smaller selection of 50 AMP sit...
In the Michigan State parks I've visited, the 50amp sites are rarely something to get excited about. They're usually long and narrow, for huge rigs to pull-through. Almost always solid gravel, or payment, as those rigs usually bring a full patio set with them anyway.
They cost slightly more than the 30amp sites, and there's no discount based on equipment.
