i am wondering if I will run into any problems running a crockpot on high for 4-6 hours in a 50 amp trailer. May sound dumb and it may be but I need to know before I go to cooking up some goodies. Thanks in advance for your replies

Crock pots take very low amperage, you should have no problems.

Just remember, when connected to 50 amp at the campground, you have 2 legs of 50 amp service. Crockpots cook nice and slow and use only a few amps.

Crock pots impose almost zero load... You'll be fine.

DW and many others use one lot.

We have 30amps and I've never had a problem using my crockpot. I use it at least once on every trip. I make red beans & rice, roast with vegetables, BBQ chicken, vegetable soup, collards.

We used our crock pot on the inverter while traveling in Alaska. The BBQ ribs smelled so good all day long....and tasted even better when we stopped for the night.
