50 amp trailer and a Crock Pot

i am wondering if I will run into any problems running a crockpot on high for 4-6 hours in a 50 amp trailer. May sound dumb and it may be but I need to know before I go to cooking up some goodies.
Thanks in advance for your replies

If you are plugged in all the time you don't have to worry about much - other than ensuring your house batteries are topped off with distiller water.
  • Right, when plugged in to shore power you are not using battery power. Also I use a crockpot with my 30a rig no problem.

Ignore all the previous responses that go way beyond the scope of your question and are aw more technical than need be.

The answer to your question is use the crock pot all you want. You will have no problems.
  • Just remember, when connected to 50 amp at the campground, you have 2 legs of 50 amp service. Crockpots cook nice and slow and use only a few amps.
