50A Y-Adapter???

Greetings! I have a new seasonal site and at the electrical connection point I only have a 50A female connection. I need a 15A outlet but I don't want to modify the wiring at the park service connection.

Is there such a thing as an adapter that has a 50A male plug on one end with a 50A female AND a 15A female connection on the other end?

Any help is appreciated!

Happy camping...

  • You could make an adapter and include a CB and GFI. Parts would cost a bit but perhaps justified since it's for a seasonal site. Weather proofing would be a concern.

But unless there is some unique reason for the question just plug into the RV.
  • An adapter like that would offer no protection to your 15 amp cord and devices causing a potential fire hazzard. Much safer to plug into the RV as suggested.
  • 2Blue,

Can't you just plug into an outside outlet on your 5er?
If you don't have one, you could add one in a storage bay so you don't have to add any new holes in the skin.
