I don't know why it is called a "50 amp service". It is actually a 25 amp @ 240V service as opposed to the more common 30 amp @ 120v service. Most RV 50A extension cords use 6 gauge wire (with maybe 8 gauge for the ground), which is over kill.
Please post the results.
I don't have 50A service.
