5th Wheel Scissor Clamp Needed

Question

Hello,I have a Valley Towing Products 5th wheel and somehow lost one of the scissor clamps that secure it to the frame rail. I called Valley and they no longer manufacture this part. Can anyone help me locate a replacement. It is a V-55280 Scissor clamp. Here is a picture from the Valley web site...Valley Single Replacement Scissor ClampI have searched all over the Melbourne Florida area, and searched on the Internet. They appear online, but no one has any in stock. I am thinking a surplus dealer or a scrap yard, or perhaps someone with an unused one can help.Thank you very much,Willie

Worst case, find a local machine shop.That's a pretty easy part to re-manufacture, even without drawings.Admin

That is where the picture actually came from!!!! They don't have any and are unable to backorder them. I went direct to Valley and they do not manufacture them anymore. That is why I am trying to get one from surplus or a junk yard. Amazon.com has them also, I have had one on backorder and it will probably never be filled. There are a dozen sites that list them, none have any in stock.
