Most of the opinions will be what RVers own because that is better for them. People who have never RVd have to decide what is best for them. I have been camping and RVing since the early 60s. I've owned them all. Pup tents, large tents, 5 TCs, 2 MHs, 1 5ver, 1 TT. Each one was best at different times. Several years ago just before I retired I went to all the RV shows in Los Angeles area and had visions of grandeur full timing in my RV. After full timing about 4 years wife & I were sitting at the dining table and I told her this isn't the way I am going to spend the rest of my life. She felt the same way but just never said anything. We sold the RV, moved to WY & live very rural. After about 10 years we bought another RV. Now a MH. Is that best? After 45 years of camping I still couldn't answer that question for you. My suggestion would be go slow. Don't jump into this with visions of grandeur. Read some of these posts. Things change in life. Just remember if you own a beautiful boat or awesome RV there are 2 great days in your life. The day you buy it and the day you sell it. Rent an RV and take a 2 month vacation. You will have a better idea what you want and if RVing is for you. I could give you hundreds of reasons why I love RVing. I coud also give you hundreds of reasons why I don't like RVing. Just sit at you computer and read the posts on this forum and you will learn a lot. Read about the happy times and read about all the complaints. JMHO.
