We have had a few different RVs over the years, starting with a slide-in pickup camper back in the 1970s. Next was a 21' Class C motorhome. Then a 29' TT that we lived in full time for almost three years. Currently we have a 24' TT. Never considered a fifth wheel because I've never had enough truck to tow one.
There hasn't been one of our RVs we didn't enjoy. But if I was considering purchasing another one, which is unlikely at my age, I'd look into a lightly-used Class A MH. Probably something with a length of 30' or less. Already have a small SUV that could serve as a toad. Of course, my wife would have to like the color of the curtains.
