60s VW Beetle towed vehicles
I am interested in any and all information concerning using a 1960s era (1965) VW Beetle as a towed vehicle. Pluses and minuses. Dos and don'ts. Thanks.

Thanks Wolfe10 and rv2go. rv2go, did you need brake assist on the 64? Did you have to do anything to the transmission? Did you use a shift lock? Did you disconnect the speedo cable? And what did you do to steady the steering wheel? Was your wheel wobble due to mechanical problems or was it inherant with the Beetle? Did you use a standard tow bar? These and related questions are what I'm looking for answers to. Thanks again.
