60s VW Beetle towed vehicles
I am interested in any and all information concerning using a 1960s era (1965) VW Beetle as a towed vehicle. Pluses and minuses. Dos and don'ts. Thanks.

wolfe, that is funny. I cut my teeth on them too. I still remember how to pull an engine in under ten minutes.:B We had the same experience as rv2go, they didn't track well being flat towed.
To answer your question, make sure you have a good steering dampner and use a bungy on wheel and go!
