Hmmm, when I was 70 I drove from Reno to Cheyenne, WY in one day. Don't know or care what the mileage was. At 72 it was from CA to eastern Utah on one day. No big deal!
Now that I am 73 and moving to Oregon from California, I drive 459 miles one way twice a week with out a problem. I do need one stop along the way as the fuel tank won't quite make the trip on one filling. This is in my Pickup and sometimes pulling a trailer and sometimes just the pickup.
In about a month, the trip will be about 120 miles further each way for various reasons.
