I can bluetooth my phone to my hearing aids. I sure got some funny looks with parents rushing their kids inside when I walked around the campground totally hands free with the phone in my pocket. They must have thought I was some old guy wandering around talking to myself.
There are advantages. Shortly after I got this setup I was standing in line at the store when a woman walked up and stood directly behind me in line. She was talking on her phone, of course, and I HEARD EVERY WORD SPOKEN BY HER CALLER! Somehow her bluetooth was on and when she came into range behind me my hearing aids were somehow picking up her call.
My audiologist adjusted the programming at my next visit so it has not happened again.
