A new way to get around a campground!

I have been looking for a rideable electric vehicle for a while now and finally found it. Its called an URB-E electric bike.

You can see them at URB-E.com.

They are made in Pasadena,CA. They weigh 35 lbs, go twenty miles on a full charge and have a top speed of 15mph! It takes four hours to charge completely from dead on a standard 120v plug. They have a few models to choose from and many choices of colors and inserts to make it your own.

They are made from aircraft grade aluminum and carbon fiber for long lasting durability.
  • Looks like a fun sidewalk scooter.
I would prefer something with larger wheels in a campground.
That thing looks like it could trip running over a nickel.
  • Walk, jog, run or bike. It's no mystery why we have an obesity epidemic in this country.

Edit - my youngest daughter has spina bifida so I do understand adaptive equipment is necessary in some cases. No offense intended.
  • We ordered 2 of these Sondors ebikes a few months ago and just got them. They are fun to ride!

For anyone that makes unfounded assumptions - neither of us are obese. DW does have inherited congenital heart failure and this pedal assist ebike will allow her to ride more. And I believe I did mention....They are fun to ride!

  • We use two Mobility Scooters we bought on Craigslist for $300 & $600 (only used once). We added a canopy to each so they look like one person golf carts.

Both of them break down into smaller components in about 10 minutes so they can be carried in the back of the truck, trunk of a car or storage compartments in the RV
  • That's a pretty slick bike..price no problem. When I'm unable to walk around I'll look into it.
  • From $1,699 to $1,999, I think I'll continue using my old fashioned land rover ..... legs!
