How was the washboarding into Trona?
Trona itself is all paved. Trona Falls...Jeep road. Pinnacles was a slow driving in an RV/trailer road.

Very familiar territory. We've driven many of the back roads in that part of California (but in 4x4 SUVs, not a motorhome!). How was the washboarding in the southern end of the Saline Valley? Some of worst washboard road we've driven on was along the Saline Valley Road.

Any washboard roads are miserable. I take my time, and I do mean taking the time. The other trick I have learned, is to have it in 4 hi...makes for a smoother ride, but really, the trick is..crawl.
I was also with a buddy, Off-Pavement, from RV Net and his Jepp is set-up for those roads and we were with him into the Saline Valley and up to the Baker Ranch.

Wow -- nice. Looks like you have a 4x4 Class C. Or does it just look that way in the pic?
Yes..I have one. Heck of rig. Got us up on top of that point. It's 99 E350 V10, from Triple E. The Regency model with winter package. It has a 6" lift, manaul hubs, winch, underside rear is armour plated, 250w solar, Thermal windows...shall I go on?
