IF you can figure out the approximate area where the skunk died put a mound of baking soda (1 or 2 boxes; be generous) over the area. It prolly wont destroy any vegetation but should neutralize the smell.

Someone was skunked about 3000 ft from me in early July; the baking soda worked pretty well for the camper. And his neighbors, LOL.
