nearly every forum I frequent for my hobbies and interests have faded significantly in the past few years ... diesel trucks, flying, Jeeping, etc ... and it makes me sad ... then I think back to usenet and newsgroups and ...

just feel really really old! :)

but I agree with a lot of the posts above that Facebook format is just not conducive to anything more than drive by postings and a jumble of random info ... but maybe that's just the curmudgeon in me?
