Strolling down memory lane almost 19 years, I find the forums have changed a lot. Back at the beginning there were no moderators and the forum was a real free-for-all. Slams, trolling and political arguments were common and the members were asking "where are the moderators". Then around 2001 or 2, Admin asked many of us to be moderators and I accepted.
Since that time, I see very little change in the forums. The post count goes up and down and the comments are very much the same. We mods have a written set of guidelines to follow and that, along with the Forum Rules that everyone agrees to when they join, are what determines how we operate.
I donate my time to the forum in order to help the membership enjoy and get something useful out of the forums. I think that forums such as RV.net still have a place in the order of things and will be around for some time yet and I still enjoy reading and trying to answer a question or two.
Lizzie, I remember you and some of your posts. Glad you decided to stick around and hope you continue to post now and then. :)
