I just went to the new 2021 Bronco build & price feature on the Ford website.So, they want me to pay nearly 30 grand for a base model Bronco Sport, and my one and only engine choice is a blasted THREE cylinder 1.5-liter?? Really???Now, I can (almost) see only 4 color choices, and only one interior choice (color AND material), but sorry folks, I just can't bring myself to buy a little three-banger. It brings back memories of Geo Metros and the like.C'mon Ford, don't force everybody to buy up, and up, and up to get something worth having. There, done venting.

And you know it can’t shut one off as needed and become a TWO cylinder right? I’m a little surprised they don’t offer the bigger engine on models other than the Badlands and First Edition. But then again, it doesn’t matter to me because I have a loaded Badlands Sport on order. :)Dave

I liked my Geo Metro with the 1.0 3 banger. Cruise control with skiies on top was to just keep the peddle on the floor for maybe 70/75 mph. Solid 50 mpg no matter how you drove it. 240,000 mostly trouble free miles.Does Bronco tow four down?

My 3 cylinder Smart car will easily run 90 and can be towed 4 down

That is because you are looking at the Bronco 2/4 door and not the Bronco Sport that the OP referenced. Different animals.

another piece of junk. had a 1971 bronco was great ,nothing like this toy there selling now .

It is the Ford ecoboost line (ie: turbo version), so not exactly the same as the old geo metro.

It is funny to watch all the old guys with rose colored glasses going on about the old bronco. My brother had one and it wasn't long before he had a few tow straps for it. Not because it got stuck in rough conditions...but because they held the body together.
