I have one of those too. After 60 years of marriage her husband was never able to make her happy. Now 10 years after his death the two daughters haven't been able to either. I've been married to one of her daughters for 46 years and have never heard her thank anyone, praise anyone for their good work, or voice any appreciation for someones efforts to help her. We used to RV with them but had to give it up due to her negative attitude about every place we went. As was stated, people like this are miserable all the time and want to make sure everyone are them are miserable too, if possible.
