A/C repair near Apex NC

Gotta get my a/c fixed. It started getting warmer and warmer towards the end of the season. I figure the most I'll be able to diagnose if I take it camping soon is to see if the compressor engages or not. I know it's a sealed system, so it can't be just recharged. Who would any of you recommend other than Mario's and D&H RV? I've already emailed Mario and I'll call D&H tomorrow for an estimate. It blows air fine, I figured there are only a few things it could be. I know in the car business, certain cars have certain repetitive failures.

  • over the years we have had both of our camper's AC's repaired and one replaced at Camptown RV .... it is located on 70 HWY in Clayton .... there is a Camping World on the same highway in Garner, I've never had any AC work done there

  • Spoke to a tech there who told me it's probably one of two things: bad compressor or a freon leak. Either one was cause to replace the whole unit and I can do it myself. He even gave me a tip on how to get it up there. 4 bolts and one plug.
  • That's where I bought it, but what a drive!! Well, TJ in Concord.
  • Tom Johnson in Marion NC (800 225 7802) is the best in the US, and it's a nice ride.

    Good Luck!
