I use a shower chair like Dutchmen Sport's father-in-law uses. Two legs sit outside the tub, the other two sit inside. It can sit on the edge, lift my legs over the tub side then scoot over and shower sitting down. A shower door won't work with this method and a little care must be used when positioning a curtain so that the water doesn't drain outside the shower.
