I'm not sure what you mean by 'top-of-the-line". ADCO makes several different covers out of different materials depending on what you think you want to protect against. My cover meant to protect against the sun and has for three years now in Arizona. Some holes are starting to develop in some corners but the sun has not damaged it in any way. Perhaps you were sold a cover made of the wrong material.
