Added GM factory backup camera to 5th wheel tailgate.

I wanted to continue to use my factory GM backup camera while running with my 5th wheel tailgate, so I bought another factory GM camera and mounted it to the 5th wheel tailgate. A second factory camera was relatively inexpensive. I have a 2017 GMC but this may work for other years and makes of pickups, I don't know. It has worked great for years now, and thought I would share what I did.

I bent a piece of aluminum angle to the appropriate camera angle and bolted it to a louver of the tailgate.

Then I mounted the camera to the aluminum angle.

I then bent and shaped a piece of sheet metal to cover and protect the wiring running down the face of the tailgate. I also cut a hole in the sheet metal for the camera.

I bolted the top of the sheet metal to the face of the camera and screwed the bottom of the sheet metal to the bottom of the tailgate.

Thats pretty much all it took. Be sure to see the photos to get a better idea what I did.
