Vacation closer to home as fuel is one of the largest expenditures for us at least.
Pack "picnic lunches" for outtings where you won't be returning to the camper for meals.
Stay away from fast foods, they are expensive.
Don't buy junk trinkets to remember the vacation as you will likely never look at again once home.
