Air Bag Recommendation needed

We've been full-timing for a little over 2 years now with a 2014 F350 6.7L 4x4 long bed and been happy with the towing/poser/etc. The weighed pin weight of my 43' TH is 4250 lbs - well within the capacity of the truck. However, it does squat about 2 inches measured at the wheel well under load which caused the trailer to be slightly nose down. This isn't a huge issue, but my front landing gears will occasionally drag coming out of a gas station or some parking lots.

What recommendations do you have on brand/type for rear bags - or some other levelling device that would not stiffen the ride? This, other than our motorcycle, is our everyday driver, so I don't want to do anything to further harshen our unloaded ride.

  • If the rear is only compressed 2" from unloaded height, then the truck isn't even riding level yet.

You don't need airbags, you need to adjust the pinbox on your trailer or raise the hitch so it tows level.
  • Airbags would probably help with getting your headlights back down on the road instead of into oncoming vehicles.
I like my Firestone Ride-Rite airbags, helps keep me level, well, the truck, not me.
  • We have the Firestone air bags. Our pin weight is a little over 2650 lbs and they work great at 50 psi on the Ram 3500. Non towing we run 10 psi.
