Air Conditioner Compressor will not turn off

26SAB Cougar 5th Wheel - 2010 - The air conditioner compressor will not turn off.  When it reaches correct temperature the fan turns off but the air conditioner compressor stays on until we unplug power.  It even draws so much power that the lights dim.  Has anyone experienced this - if so how was it fixed?  Did you need to buy a new air conditioner, could you repair it yourself?  Thanks so much!!

PROBLEM SOLVED - DH took the hood off and found some kind of a bug (we live in the woods) had built a cocoon or nest in the wiring.  One of the bugs seemed to have been fried.  DH said somehow it conducted just enough current to cause a "bug" in the computer.  Once he cleaned it up - it worked fine!
