No need to be embarrassed. 50 Amp systems are usually for 2 30000 BTU air conditioners. 30 Amps will run 1 30000 in a travel trailer and most TTs are equipped with only 1. You can also buy adapters for 50 amp to 30 Amp cords, 30 amp to 50 amp cords. Look up wiring a 50 Amp cord and 30 amp cord and I'd recommend you buy one so in case you run into a 50 AMP space as the only one left you can take it.
