Alaska schools
Does anyone know who to contact to gewt one of the summer positions guarding schools? I remember meeting a couple in Soldotna and they parked at the schools over the summer to provide security. Any info is great.

http://www.asdk12.org/events/camper_host.asp - I have schoolteacher relatives in Alaska and I didn't know this kind of work is available! I'm guessing that kind of thing would be managed by individual school districts...but you might try contacting the State Department of Education. Link
Also:
I presume you're talking about next summer, since school will be starting again up there in less than a month (mid-August).
