Last week I went to a shop that specializes in eighteen wheelers and motor home body repairs and alignments. I was quoted $331.50 which was higher than what I expected after researching this subject on this forum. After being on a waiting list for three weeks I finally got the call that I could bring my rig in for alignment. After unhooking and talking with the mechanic that was going to do the work I was told that the alignment did not include adjustments to camber. Camber was my specific problem. So, I asked what it would cost if camber needed adjusting. Camber adjustment would be another $600 to $800. I was also told 95% of the trailers they align need an adjustment to camber.
I didnt like the way this was going so I hooked up and got out of there as quick as I could.
STILL LOOKING FOR AN HONEST SHOP.
