All windows open in covered storage?

Are there any issues with leaving windows open, including the top vent when a rig is in covered storage (i.e. under a pole barn with side walls, which keeps rain from blowing in.) With the screens on the windows, insects shouldn't be a problem, and it should keep humidity on the inside from becoming an issue or causing damage.
  • I have both vent covers and a pole barn. I keep my vents open 24/7/365, but nothing else. I even did that before I got the pole barn, but I always had the vent covers.
  • Have always installed roof vent covers for last 15-20 years. Keep the roof open 24/7/365 even when underway. We live in a very rainy climate. I don’t deal with humidity issues inside TT anymore. The roof covers keep out the rain too.
  • For the long winter indoor hibernation everything is closed. Mothballs wrapped in drier sheets are scattered all over inside. Six months later the odour of them is still enough to keep any critters that might consider our 5er a new home out of it. This method has worked for 10 years. Nothing has ever moved in.
  • The neighbor stored his 5th wheel in a shed and forgot to close a window by accident. A raccoon found the open window , moved in, and trashed the nice new 5th wheel. She even had babies while living in it.:E

    I say leave them closed.
