Allentown RV Show
I know there aren't many Forum members in this area, but did anybody else get to this show?

- I didn't know there was an Allentown RV Show. :(
- Went Friday night. A good cross-section of units considering the facility is no where near the size of the show in September out in Hershey.
We only seriously looked at trailers since that is our rig of choice. Stuck our heads in a couple of motorhomes to see how the other half lives. A few things stand out in my mind: 1) Interiors come in two basic color schemes - brown and varying shades thereof OR sleek, hi-tech stainless steel. 2) I left wondering whether the folks that design these units actually take them out and camp in them. I can't remember any specific instances at the moment but there were some layouts that were just plain dumb. 3) We saw a fair number of units that - on the surface - looked like great rigs until you began to look at details. Quite a bit of really sloppy construction/fit & finish. While I think that's always been an issue with one builder or another, I don't recall seeing this issue across the board with all except high-end units.

The show itself doesn't have the "wow factor" of the September show in Hershey. If you're just interested in looking or starting to research a potential purchase in the future it is a good chance to look a manageable number of rigs.
