I had my coach at a service center in Florida to have my refrigerator fixed. They called and said that the overheat sensor black box was bad( the one for the Norcold Recall)and they were going to replace it.
Of course they called a few days later and told me it was ready, went and picked it up and stupidly didn't look at repair. Got home, hooked up to power and tried to turn it on and nothing. They took the old box off and never replaced it. Wires were all disconnected and hanging there.
Well, I called and told them, the service writer asked, are you sure you are looking at the right thing? I said I am 100% sure. The next question was, when are you sending someone to my house and fix my fridge!
They sent a mechanic out that same day, over 2 hours away to put the part in and get the unit running correctly. he was a seasoned mechanic and told me, it happens all the time anymore. We hire guys that aren't even mechanically inclined to do the little and the nasty jobs. They don't have to pay them as much as the real mechanics.
