Yep .... right on! That's RV travel at it's finest.
We stay off the Interstates and Toll Roads if at all possible. The Interstates are especially getting torn up by the trucks and just plain too much traffic in general.
Slow and easy is the Name of the Game in an RV, but I guess this approach is only possible if you're retired. ;)
Never noticed undrivable roads off the interstate. Of course, you have to drive slower so bumps aren't as noticeable. Even the drive to Alaska has 'issues' and lots of complaining but we felt it was just part of the grand adventure.
