When I'm driving in Canada if my vehicle won't make the switch to kph I use my Garmin, set to display my speed in kph. Especially handy in the citified areas where the speed limits shift a lot faster than my brain can make the conversion.
Not unlike the USA, Canucks need many signs to reteach us how to drive every time we drive. So therefore we can text and etc. because a sign will keep us safe. Aside from the STOP sign used to keep traffic moving, another fave is the 4 speed zones in 2000 metres entering a town... I digress...
mph to km/hr aka "klicks" - try this:
mph is politician spending promise in billion$
km/hr is actual spent, much of it borrowed "short term" so banks don't starve...
example: 30 billion promised is 50 billion spent, 40 is 60, 65 is 105, 100 is 160...
