Had Surgery early last Thursday Morning (7:30AM 2/8/2018)
3 1/2 hrs -------Tibia/Talus ankle joint fused and Talus/Navicular Mid-foot joint fused. 4 large/long deck screws thru joints, a large & small plate across joints, a little bone graft from hell and a small snip of Achilles to relieve tension.
2 months NON-LOAD Bearing on left foot/ankle
Come home Friday morning.
Stopped ALL pain meds 2 days ago.
Knee scooter delivery this AM
What a simple concept that makes ALL the difference in ones ability to be mobile and function W/O much assistance.
Sure takes a load off loved ones.
