I agree. the electric ones are easier and cleaner to transport.

As far as keeping the site clean, I like to keep crud out of my trailer. although I would maybe do it once or twice a day. right now I just travel with a broom.

I don't understand why people use blowers in the first place.
For the same amount of electricity (and less noise) you can use a purpose-designed vacuum cleaner. This way you do NOT spread the pollution within your street or space. Yes, you can bag it and take it to the dumpster. Imagine that.
Anyway, I've never had a blower, never used a blower,....always picked up after me. And YES, it is hard to be humble. But, I keep trying....:B

but, bring it on. When we camp on trees, we bring this one. It does a great job on our 3x5 step rug.

Nothing worse then tracking in dead leaves..

Wow, I can think of a lot worse things: Grease, dog poop, tar, paint...

I would think that blowing off would create more a mess everywhere else in the camp site.

To those that can't stand to give up your bed space to go from a TT to a 5er!! This guy has the room carry a gas powered leaf blower.

I have a fold up leaf rake that I bring in case I may need to tidy up the site a bit (twigs, cedar needles, grass clippings etc)...and I thought I was anal

We ripped out all our carpeting and installed vinyl plank flooring. (Who vacumes when camping anyway?) That way once a day a quick sweep and the floor is clean. We barefoot inside....

As far as the campsite goes, sweep the outside rug once a day, wipe off the tables and RELAX! All done in 15 minutes.

I've always wondered if these folks that pull in with their million Dollar Rigs bring their housekeeper along with them. Gosh, those beasts are giagantic and always spotless. takes all the fun out of "camping" to me. I also get a kick out of watching folks waxing their rigs while at the campground. I see that all the time.

I use a electric leaf blower to clean our outdoor carpet, usually about mid-day. Keeps from dragging dirt into the RV. :)
