A short update on my stolen Travel Trailer.
I have had my claim rejected by Nationwide as it was at a consignment location.
I have, in writing, that the consignment owners do not have coverage on consignment vehicles.
I have talked to an attorney and determined that the value of the travel trailer (2004 28' Zepplin) would not justify the expense of a trial if we won. The possibility is there that we would not win, and even if we won, there is no guarantee I would get paid.
Bottom line: IF you are placing your RV in an consignment location for sale, Please check you insurance to see if it is covered.
Thanks for the thoughts and ideas.
I wondered on the cost of the unit cause if it was HIGH---you would have been ranting in this thread about your loss of ALOT of money. My toyhauler is in the $40K area and if I got it stolen and lost that money I would be spitting out a rant with alot of ***** in it :) LOL
sorry for your loss tho, I am happy you brought it to the attention of others to check policies!!
