Judging by some of the questions we see, some people don't appear to have even bothered to look at a map before asking. I'm more likely to be helpful if the questioner appears to have made some effort, rather than relying on others to do all of the work.
I'll do my research with maps and campground apps, etc., then if I'm still uncertain about something, I may ask for help, or I may just wing it. I would mostly prefer to learn things for myself, and make my own discoveries. Isn't that part of the fun of being more or less self-contained?
