If a owner of a new Carlisle ST tire wants to have a warranty they will have to be ran at max sidewall pressures.

And the warranty says:
"The Warranty is void if the tire or wheel fails due to damage from improper inflation pressures, exceeding the maximum speed limit, or overloading the tire beyond the maximum load capacity stated on the sidewall."
Carlisle make a good point;
" Select the correct tires to match the application and capacity requirements".
In other words select a tire that has a 15-20 percent load reserve. That way max pressures can be used for best tire performance and to protect the warranty.
They say max psi because they buy a tire wheel combo that NEEDS MAX PSI. So there is nothing wrong in upsizing a tire from D to E or whatever and using proper inflation for the new tire based on the weight charts.
Not for the Carlisle if the owners expects to have a warranty.
As we gain experience towing trailers we come to realize using minimum pressures in a tire on a trailer wasn't the best idea. Oh sure some may get by using a minimum pressure in a good LT tire. They can take more abuse than a ST but at some point even the LT gets tired.
