Answering questions without knowing details?
Please help me understand...Maybe just me. I do understand people posting questions that are vehicle specific. Posters leave out what model, brand or size out of their question. But what I do...

Many questions the answers really are not all that vehicle specific To take your examples:
Q:What oil should I run in my diesel?
Actually almost all Diesel engines have the same oil specified, very few are different, so the answer really does not matter what you have that much.
Q:I have duel axle trailer, what is the proper torque for lug nuts?
And again, for any give lug, and for any give wheel size.. OFten the same torque
However my answer is to look at the captive washer on the nut.. mine specifies the torque there.
QMy weather stripping is bad, what type should I buy.
Weather stripping is weather stripping, the best replacement should be used, even if it is different from the factory and what "The Best" is,, well same for all RV's Now ROOF calking, that's another matter.
Q: My awning is bad, how do I fix it?
There are only 3 or 4 awnings,, Just 3-44, one or two and two power.. All are the same in most respects..
Carefree is one of the power awnings the other is "A&E, Dometic Weather pro" and I think one or two other brands (All the same).
All the fabric is the same.
As you can see it's easy to give an answer.
So, it's not that hard.
How can anybody give a correct answer without knowing more details?
Finally we have "Generic" answers.. For example "half my outlets don't work"
Ok, do you have an inverter? Y/N If Y
Check for circuit breakers either A: On the inverter itself or B on a 2nd breaker panel somewhere in the RV.
I don't need to know the make and model on the 1st level all I need to know is do you have an inverter.. .Do not need to know the make and model of the inverter either,, Just do you have one.
If that don't work THEN I need make model info.
