Please help me understand...Maybe just me. I do understand people posting questions that are vehicle specific. Posters leave out what model, brand or size out of their question. But what I do...

Generic question get generic answers.
Generic question will usually get at least ONE response asking for specific info.
If specific info isn't provided....then back to generic answers.
As far as I am concerned it is up to the OP to provide info, respond to requests for more info OR deal with basic generic info.
Guess the real question IS: Why can't OP post questions with real information vs just a generic question in the first place :H
