Answering questions without knowing details?
Please help me understand...Maybe just me. I do understand people posting questions that are vehicle specific. Posters leave out what model, brand or size out of their question. But what I do...

A lot of posters to your question did so with humorous and sarcastic responses and that's normal and to be expected.
Some gave thoughtful replies assuming your question was deliberate and that you actually wanted an answer.
But what it boils down to is this: Many of the questions one sees here and the ones you posed are what might be called Softball or Sophomore questions. Many here have the experience to answer these types of questions because they simply do not require any further information. They have years of experience and deep knowledge of systems, mechanics and other things.
If like me you have owned RV's, Sailboats and all kinds of other fun stuff, have been working on and restoring your own cars since you were 15, built small and large buildings etc etc then there are just some things that experience covers.
And by the way just for the record; there is absolutely no relation between a posters time spent on this site ( a so called Old Timer) and their abilities or knowledge and sadly they are often the ones who jump in with incorrect or misleading information.
On the other hand there are a few who do know their stuff for sure and share it gladly.
